Biography

Hello, my name is Georgia Oboh, I am the author of this blog. I'm a British-born Nigerian and a professional golfer on The Sunshine Ladies Tour. 

This season marks my fifth season as a touring professional golfer. 

My parents introduced me to the game at a young age. I started playing golf at the age of six at Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire, England. Soon after I started to compete all over England on the British Junior Golf Tour. 

 

After an illustrious amateur career, I turned professional at the age of 17 on November 11, 2018, and so my journey to the top began. 

The goal: No. 1 female professional golfer in the world

Currently a member of Ladies Professional Golf Association Nigeria (LPGAN), Professional Golf Association Nigeria (PGAN),  and Sunshine Ladies Tour (SLT).
